Infinite backlogs do not work. They become graveyards of good intentions. 99 Tasks caps you at 99 visible slots. When you hit 99, you finish something before adding something new. The list stays short enough that every item matters. Tasks are numbered 1 through 99. You can target a specific slot with @12 or let the app assign the next available. Subtasks nest under any task. Notes attach to any task and are included in semantic search.
AI search and voice input, fully on-device
Semantic search uses on-device word embeddings to find tasks by meaning, not keywords. Search "call the dentist about my appointment" and it finds the task titled "root canal follow-up." Voice input uses platform speech recognition. No data leaves your device. No account, no ads, no tracking. Cloud sync is optional and uses email-based auth with end-to-end encryption.
